Construction update: Construction going strong
2:47PM August 17, 2020
Crews have been hard at work and much progress has been made toward bringing fast fiber internet to parts of Warren County. Here’s the latest:
AREA 2, 3 and 4
Areas 2, 3 and 4 are built and spliced and most all drops have been installed. Once individual drops have been installed, NCTC will call to schedule an appointment to connect you to fiber service. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the installation of the drop for service installations to be available.
What does this mean for you? Appointments for installing high-speed broadband at your house should be available in about 3 weeks.
AREA 5
Area 5 is built and spliced, and drops are now beginning to be installed. Once individual drops have been installed, NCTC will call to schedule an appointment to connect you to fiber service. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the installation of the drop for service installations to be available.
AREA 6
Area 6 is expected to be completely built by Aug. 7 and splicing will begin Aug. 10. Drops are expected to begin the week of Aug. 17. Once individual drops have been installed, NCTC will call to schedule an appointment to connect you to fiber service. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the installation of the drop for service installations to be available.
